Journey's
As women and individuals, we all have different journey’s in life. So why would motherhood be any different? Breastfeeding, birthing, we are all going to experience something dissimilar. After all our bodies are our own. They all have a uniqueness inside and out.
Erin was lucky enough to feed both of her babies until they were just over 2years old, but it was not always smooth sailing. Breastfeeding can be hard-work, and it may hurt until you and baby find the right groove. Not all mum's produce enough milk, or sometimes none at all. As long as our babies are nourished in some capacity then you are winning, Mumma! You are keeping your baby alive and fed and that is all that matters!
We believe it is really important to share our stories. There is no one way to feed your child. If a mother had trouble feeding back before formula, they would pass bubba around the local community to mothers that could feed. So let’s be a community, and instead of sharing your milk, share your knowledge and help another mother out so that she doesn’t feel alone. After all, knowledge is power!!
If you would like to share your journey with us. Please submit with an image (if possible). If you’d like to be anonymous, that’s ok too, just tell us (from anonymous).
